Our editorial and writing team consists of students ranging from different majors bringing different characteristics to InQuiry Magazine.

Jonathan Duberney (first on left) I am 19 years old and I went to Veterans Memorial High School in Mission, Texas. I'm currently majoring in Exercise Science with a concentration on Physical Therapy. What interested me in this major was when I had to go to physical therapy for an injury and I saw what the therapists were doing and the environment and it felt right for me. What I'm going to do with my major after graduation is try to go for my Masters so I could become a Physical Therapist. Some hobbies I do outside of school are going to the gym, running, playing video games, and watching things like football, basketball and MMA. I am enjoying InQuiry so far, it's something I've never done before. My plans for InQuiry is to contribute towards it as much as I can and make it a cool experience for everyone.

Daisy Vargas (second from left) I am 20 years old and I graduated from Southwest High School. I am currently majoring in criminal justice, the reason I chose this major was my interest in forensics in high school. What I hope to do with my major after graduation is to pursue a career in the field of forensics. Some hobbies I do outside of school include, playing video games, baking, and reading. I am enjoying InQuiry, it’s a new experience and I got to learn new things. My plans for InQuiry are to make it understandable and a fun experience for everyone.
Nadia Loera (third from left) i am 20 years old and I graduated from Idea Weslaco college prep. My major is currently integrated health sciences with a concentration in nursing, and I chose this path because I feel like this job would not only care medically but be there interpersonally i hope to have been moved to Austin, Texas and find a stable job in becoming a pediatric or labor and delivery RN. Outside of school my hobbies include shopping, baking, and working. InQuiry is something new and different for me so it's interesting to learn about a magazine organization. My plans for inQuiry are to make it as fun as I can.

Phoemela Matnog (on the right) I’m 18 years old and I graduated from Robert Vela Highschool. Currently majoring in Kinesiology and the reason why I chose Kinesiology is because my coach from high school graduated with this degree and has a nice stable job as an athletic trainer, which inspired me to pursue the same career. Some of my hobbies include reading books, playing video games, and building Legos. I am liking InQuiry so far, I didn’t know this was part of the class when I first chose it, but I got to meet new people and step outside my comfort zone. My plans for Inquiry are to try and contribute to the magazine as much as possible, making it look nicer and more polished so it can be ready to be shown to the public.

Michael Arriaga (right side)
I am 18 years old and graduated from Sharyland High School. My current major is Kinesiology and it's something I have always been observant on how the human body works and want to dive more into with wanting to do PT. I want to become a Physical Therapist, and if that doesn't work then personal trainer, AND if that doesn't work than a coach. Hobbies I like to do outside of school are I like to bake, grill and cook along with camping and archery. I also work at Curbside at the HEB in Mission, and finally I go to the gym. Stats: 315 bench 455 squat 245 power clean. Right now, I am enjoying InQuiry with the different connections I am making with the people here and my plans for InQuiry are ultimately wanting to create a broader picture with what InQuiry is, who created it with who wrote the articles and promote InQuiry.
Edgar Guajardo (left side)
I am 21 years old and i graduated from Nikki Rowe high school. My current major is Civil Engineering. I'm interested in my major because I enjoy building and designing things. After graduation I currently have an engineering internship with the state, I would like to continue there after I get my degree. I enjoy playing golf as a hobby, I head out there every weekend. As for inQuiry I enjoy it due to the reason for seeing previous authors' papers and learning from them. My plans are to set a good example for future students in this class.
