Our editorial team is made up of students from different majors who all bring something unique to InQuiry Magazine. Sandra Perez (first from the left) is majoring in Integrated Health Sciences. Her contribution is giving peer feedback. She hopes to get into the nursing program and become a pediatric nurse. A fun fact about her is that she likes to read. Cameron Shepperd (second from the left), who goes by Cam, is majoring in Exercise Science. He changed the name of the magazine tab for his contribution. His goal is to become a physical therapist, and a fun fact about him is that he used to play hockey. Ashley Alaniz (middle), who also goes by Ash, is majoring in Integrated Health Sciences focusing on Nursing. Her contribution to the magazine is editing. Her future goal is to become a medical sales device salesman because it sounds the most interesting, and she believes she is good at communication and persuasion. A fun fact about her is that she likes to bake. Kailey Kaufman (second from the right) is also majoring in Integrated Health Sciences focusing on Nursing. She helps with editing for the magazine. Her goal is to become a travel nurse and eventually go into labor and delivery nursing. A fun fact about her is that she likes to run and work out. Lastly, Kevin Cantu (first from the right) is double majoring in Finance and Economics. His contribution was changing the font and color scheme of the magazine. His goal is to become an angel investor because he likes to find things that can grow. A fun fact about him is that he can play guitar.

Richard Calderon is an attending student in the University Of Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). Richard Calderon prefers to be called Richie and is majoring in Civil Engineering with the hope of being a Structural engineer. His greatest aspiration in life is to be not just a pro soccer player but play at the highest level in the sport and participate in the most prestigious and most important competitions with Mexico and his favorite clubs. His role in the group is fact checking if the sources are valid in the research paper. A fun fact about Richie is that he has a YouTube channel and loves to create vlogs and soccer based videos for his audience.

Alexis Anguiano is majoring in Petroleum Engineering with a minor in Business Management. His dream career is to become a project manager in the oil rigs, it was inspired by his brother who became his motivator who is Petroleum Engineer. In the magazine, Alexis played the role of a fact checker, ensuring all information was accurate and reliable. A fun fact about him is that he has double-jointed fingers.
Antonio Cavazos, who prefers to be called Tony, is a business major with big dreams of owning a successful company one day. His goal is to build something great and achieve lasting success, as he has always dreamed of going big. In the magazine project, Tony took on the important role of fact-checking to ensure accuracy and credibility. A fun fact about him is that he enjoys cooking in his free time.
Gilberto Garcia, who prefers to go by Beto, is majoring in Finance. He plans to attend law school and become a business lawyer to help with his dad’s business. In the magazine, Beto served as a fact checker, making sure all the details were correct. A fun fact about him is that his middle name is Zeus.

Daniella Garza, a kinesiology major with a passion for helping others. She is working on becoming an occupational therapist, where she hopes to make a positive impact on people's lives by improving their ability to perform everyday tasks. A fun fact about her is that she’s also a gym rat who loves rock climbing. Meet Karolina Quintanilla, a driven pre-nursing major with her goals on becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). A fun fact about her is that she’s a triplet, which has taught her the value of teamwork, communication, and always having a built-in support system. Daymara Huerta, a compassionate pre-nursing major with a heartfelt dream of becoming a pediatric oncology nurse. Alongside her studies, she finds joy in spending time with her favorite animal, cats!

Our team attribution to the Inquiry Magazine was suggesting a new design for the website as well as peer reviewing submissions.

Adriana Roqué, Luz Hernandez, Annika Palacios, Anthyana Lopez
Our group is excited to be part of the Inquiry Magazine team, where we each bring our own unique skills and passions to the project. Adriana Roqué, majoring in Communication Science and Disorders with a minor in American Sign Language, helped make the website more aesthetically pleasing and plans to become a Speech Language Pathologist. Luz Hernandez, an Education major with a Bilingual Concentration, designed a new website for the magazine and aspires to become both a successful businesswoman and an amazing teacher. Annika Palacios, an Integrated Health Science major, contributes by providing effective edits for papers and the website, with future goals of becoming an esthetician and opening her own med spa. Lastly, Anthyana “Tyana” Lopez, an Early Childhood Education major, assists in editing and perfecting content for publication and strives to be the best teacher she can be. Together, we are proud to contribute to the Inquiry Magazine and share a little bit more about who we are!

Hello, welcome to the student editor's section! Aneth is majoring in Criminal Justice, and Emir is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Aneth's career goal is to is to get a Bachelor's degree and land a Federal job. Emir's career goal is to have his own business. Team roles for InQuiry Magazine include Fact Checker, Copy Editor, Peer Reviewer, Web Designer and Graphic Designer. Aneth's fun fact is hat she's a middle child. Emir's fun fact is that he's fractured four bones.
